Name: Dee Camilotto
Title: Title 1 Reading Specialist
Location: Riverside Elementary - Fond du Lac School District
As a Title 1 Reading Specialist I work with students in 1st and 2nd grade. My assistant and I work with 35-40 students in small groups of 4-6. We use a group program modeled after Reading Recovery. I have been in this position for 20 years. Before I moved to Wisconsin I taught 1st grade in Lafayette, IN for 10 years. I have a BS and MS from Indiana State University.
I live in Fond du Lac with my husband of 34 years. We have a son who graduated from Marquette. He lives in Green Bay. During the summer I travel a lot. So far I have been to Indiana, the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan and Boston. In August I will be going to NYC. My favorite places to visit are NYC anytime and warm places for Spring Break. Besides traveling I enjoy making quilts and reading.
